Halo 2 theme included in Guitar Hero II?
Joystiq have reported on an interesting little tidbit of information for guitar-wielding Halo fans. Apparently the electric-guitar remixed version of the Halo theme prevelant in the Halo II soundtrack could find its way to the game via the 360’s downloadble content initiative.
As I previously posted, i’m very excited about the possibility of downloadable content for GHII, and this is the sort of thing that will have the Xbox fanboys frothing at the mouth with joy. Maybe they could do other themes also? Some sort of downloadable videogame music pack would undoubtably rock, and with the variety of licenses that Microsoft seem to have snapped up for old games via the Live! Arcade service, its something that presumably could be done
Roll on the DLC!!!

Halo 2 had one of the finest OST’s released and is one of the few I actually bought (instead of downloading…) - only other OST’s I have are for Rez (amazing) and ICO (for tin-time!).

GH2? Never played either version - looking forward to finding out what all the fuss is about though!

first, i cant believe you’ve never played either Guitar Heroes!!!!, and second, ive already seen some guy who messed with gh2’s coding and made his own halo 2 theme on the ps2, it was pretty hard looking, you can see it on youtube, just search gh2 halo theme
