‘World in Conflict’ confirmed for Xbox 360

Vivendi and Massive Entertainment officially confirmed this morning that the highly anticipated PC RTS title ‘World in Conflict‘ will be coming to Xbox 360.

For those of you who have never heard of this title, it’s much in the same vein as Command and Conquer but with superior graphics and much more of a next-gen sheen about it. You thought the explosions in C&C3 were good? Check out the nuclear mushroom clouds in this baby!

This is fantastic news for 360 owners and a real boost for the 360 as an RTS capable platform. It will be interesting to see if the new Halo RTS can match this baby for looks.

No news on a release date yet but we’ll be sure to let you know when that is announced.

‘World in Conflict’ joins ‘Half-Life‘ and ‘Overlord’ at the top of my shopping list for this year so far.

Xbox 360 keeps getting lots of games that are released on Xbox 360 and PC, but not for the Playstation 3.

I am really glad I decided to buy an Xbox 360 instead of waiting for the Playstation 3.

Games like World in Conflict, Command & Conquer 3, Two Worlds, Mass Effect, Crackdown, Lost Planet, Dead Rising, Forza Motorsport 2, Call of Duty 2: Game of the Year Edition, and of course Gears of War and Halo 3 are amazing!!!
