Xbox 360 “Lead Platform” for Fallout 3

Peter Hines, VP of Public Relations at Bethesda Software, did a recent interview concerning the state of development on Fallout 3. When asked if the three versions of the game were at the same stage in development, Pete responded: “For the most part. 360 is our lead platform. Our devs are just big fans of the dev tools available on the 360 and so that’s our lead. But PC, PS3, 360 - they’re all chugging along.”

With Bethesda getting many, many game of the year awards with their last title, it’s nice to know they are again taking a quality approach. With potential problems arising from this being a release delay for Sony or just performance issues, how long will the 360 have competition if this keeps up?

I wasn’t aware of this game but those screenshots look amazing. More good news for the 360.
