Sensible Soccer Finally Given a Release Date
For those of you who enjoyed the wonderful world of Sensible Soccer back in the days of the Amiga, you will be pleased to learn that as of December the 19th you will be able to show your silky skills to other sensible soccer players around the world. It has been a long wait but finally Codemasters’ Sensible Soccer has been given a release date.
For those of you unfamiliar with the game it is a football (or soccer) game where you could add amazing amounts of swerve to your shots to score some spectacular goals. It was a game that oozed playability and the chance to play friends over Xbox live has got me very excited. The game will support 720p so should look great on your HDTV.

I managed to play this today. It is great fun and uses the same engine as the original (apart from a weird effect when you score). I didn’t get a chance to try it on Xbox live though.
If you were a fan of the original you will love this game. If not I think you will still get a lot of fun out of it.
