Apology Accepted

Microsoft announced today that Undertow, an Xbox Live Arcade title released back in November 2007, is now available to Gold and Silver members at no charge from 2:00 a.m. PST Wednesday, January 23 through 11:59 p.m. PST, Sunday, January 27. This is their “free gift” in an attempted apology to recent Xbox Live problems during the holidays.
16 player online battles, 2 player co-op, 15 level single player campaign, and the game features 3 races with 4 unique units per race. By Microsoft’s own point system, the title is worth 800 points, do you think this is a worthy gesture?? If you’ve already bought the title they say to call customer support, perhaps having said points refunded - should they have just given us 800 points??
Personally I’m happy with the free game, but I didn’t have that many problems going online. Let us know if you are still having a few hiccups, and what you think about the compensation coming our way.

Well at least its something, I’ve had a few issues with live, and its good that Microsoft are willing to make up for the issues, I personally would have prefered the points, but a free arcade game is always welcome, just as long as its not bunk…

The demo had great graphics for an arcade title. Plays out like a team-based Geometry Wars if it had a territories gametype.
