Rez HD now available on Live Arcade

One of my favourite games of all time has just been released on Xbox Live Arcade. For those who have never played Rez before, it is an on-rails shooter by Sega made in the same style as games like Panzer Dragoon. Your character flies through a wireframe world shooting down everyone and everything.

Although the game does look wonderful in high definition the real beauty of the game lies in its soundtrack. The game manages to weave all enemy sounds, explosions etc into a trance soundtrack that starts from the moment you pick up the joypad and lasts until you defeat the final boss.

The game itself is quite short but offers up plenty of replay value as you try to get each level sounding better and better.

At a price point of 800 points I highly recommend this game to anyone who missed it first time around or just wants to see what it looks like in high definition.
