I’ve had a pre-order sitting at my local Blockbuster all week. Normally handling my rentals, they had a sweet preorder deal involving a midnight tuesday release date and a framed picture of Niko, the game’s main character. With glowing reviews from anyone who has seen the game, this title looks to deliver on the hype, so I figured it deserved an official Xbox360Wire liveblog - updates forthcoming(EST):
5:30pm - Home from work, time for some Lone Wolves. *RingRing” -get a call from BlockBuster, wanted to confirm that I hadn’t just wasted my $5.
“Hell Yes I’ll be there at Midnight, you guys got my frame, my name and my 360 game……word?”
“Yes sir, we’ll be open till 12:15, I can’t wait to se” -clik– “better have my game”
11:40pm - On my way out to greet the night. Rain is waiting, and I’m sure a crowd of blood thirsty children all hopped up on caffeine/meth with no school tomorrow. Wish them luck, cause if they so as much as even scratch this camera its clobberin time!!!! - expect a few pics upon my return home
12:23pm - I’m back with the goods, all is well in ManchVegas. Only 5 people including myself and two Blockbuster employees were in the store, overall great success - nice exclusive frame as promised - very nice!!

well worth the wait friend - the few moments I had last night can only be catergorized by an “intriguing experience” - not so much a “game” anymore

Cool - wheres the review now
