Exclusive : YouTube arrives on Xbox 360 (Review & Interview)

ytde.jpg

YouTube has landed on 360 thanks to a nifty little program for Windows based PC’s and laptops.
We received information on the product last week, from developer Bryan Fleming. He asked us to give YouTubeDriver a spin to see what we thought.
To be honest, watching YouTube on my 360 never really crossed my mind - nor […]

Free Game on Xbox Live Arcade??

aegis.jpg

Scott Brodie, Danny Dyer and Matt Monson were all interns at Microsoft last summer. Unlike most interns, these 3 had bigger plans then shadowing an animator or learning from a marketing executive, they wanted to make a game. Aegis Wing is the game, free is the price, and awesome is the only word that comes […]

Gears of War “Hidden Fronts” Review

garden.jpg

As the first downloadable content from Epic that we’ve had to pay for, let me say right off, yes these maps are well worth 200 MSpoints each. Just like Old Bones, Raven Down, and the new Annex play mode, downloadable content from the guys who made gears continues to set the bar higher and higher […]

If you own it, put the disc in, try it.

Wii60 - A gamers delight?

Many gaming websites touted the Nintendo Wii as the ideal companion to a ‘proper’ next-gen console. Having just purchased a Wii for my non-gaming partner, I thought I’d give my impressions on the combination of two very different consoles. This is a very basic overview, given we are 360 Wire and not Wii Wire!
The Console […]

Crackdown, Judge Dredd on speed!

Last night I sat down with the demo of crackdown, and much fun and merriment was had. This game is good fun, there are no two ways about it.
The demo starts with your character in the parking lot of the agency building where you get to select which type of agency vehicle you want to […]

Component Or VGA? VGA Or Component?

From my time in many a different forum, one question that keeps cropping up is ‘Component or VGA?’. Seems people are still trying to determine which of these is better. Well the simple fact is that the decision largely comes down to personal choice Here’s my opinion and how I arrived there.
Okay, when making your […]
